The register of members for an association its members own

In a Swedish economic association the members are also the owners, and the board must keep a register of them. Registra keeps that register current, takes fees into the association's account and reaches members before the general meeting.

What you start with

When you create your organization you pick what kind it is, and that decides what is switched on from the start. Nothing is locked: tell us, and we switch on what is off.

  • SectionsOff at start

  • MUCF grant figuresOff at start

  • AI assistantAdd-on

Ask the register in plain language. It reads, and never changes anything.

A register that stays current

The Swedish Economic Associations Act requires the board to keep a register of members. In Registra the members update their own details, and every change is logged.

  • Members correct their name, address and phone on the member portal.
  • The activity log shows when a member was added, changed or removed, and by whom.
  • Export the register when the auditor or the general meeting needs it.

Fees to the association's account

Payments go to the association's own Stripe account, not ours. You choose what each membership costs and how it is paid.

  • A one-off fee when a member joins, for example their contribution.
  • An annual fee that renews automatically, or renewal by link.
  • See who has paid and which payments failed.

Only what you need to ask

An economic association does not apply for youth grants, so the MUCF figures are off at the start and members are not asked for their gender.

  • An application page with the questions you add yourselves.
  • Emails to every member before the general meeting, with delivery shown per recipient.
  • Read-only access for the auditor, without personal identity numbers.

Frequently asked questions

Can members pay their contribution in Registra?

Yes, as a one-off fee when they join. The money goes to the association's own Stripe account. Registra does not keep the books on member capital; that stays in your accounting as it is today.

Can the board share the work?

Yes. Invite the whole board as administrators, and give the auditor read-only access. Everyone has their own login, and the activity log shows who did what.

What does it cost?

Free up to 100 members. After that, Association costs SEK 400 a month, however many you become. On payments we take 1.5%, and Stripe takes its own fee on top.
